How To Make Warm Vanilla Body Scrub

Have you ever wanted to make your own beauty products but worried they may not turn out? I am going to share my favorite body scrub recipe with you, and I promise you will like it.  Sometimes I like to make a floral or citrus for spring and summer, but for winter only warm fragrances make me feel cozy and wonderful.  Not only is this super easy to make, it is very inexpensive and looks beautiful in a jar with a little label for a homemade gift.

Let's make something luxurious that will make all of the gals (and you) in your life feel pampered and fabulous!

How To Make Warm Vanilla Body Scrub:
Ingredients:
16 oz Epsom Salt (no fragrance)
3/4 cup carrier oil (safflower oil/kitchen oil works well and is inexpensive)
3 t. vanilla extract

Mix ingredients in a mixing bowl and fill two 8 ounce Mason jars, seal and be prepared to make more upon request!  Alternatively table salt or sugar can be used, however I prefer to use Epsom salt for a few reasons: sugar can irritate someone with candida issues, Epsom salt is great for muscle pain and tension, and it is more course than table salt.

So there you have it, let me know if you make this and love it.

I cannot stop walking by and smelling it.  Maybe it's time to make some muffins or something!!
Thank you for reading and creating with me, hugs & blessings to you and your family

xoxo, Tanya

Hi Tanya,
I know just the person I'm going to make this for! It looks amazing! Thanks for stopping by SouthernAbbey, I'm now a follower of yours too! Maybe I'll fill the mason jar wineglasses with the scrub for two gifts in one.
Cheers,
Heather
